What this site collects

MapSprint USA is built to collect as little learner information as possible.

What stays on this device

The optional explorer name, stage scores, personal bests, and the list of states worth another look are stored only in this browser under the key logicnaut-usa-state-v1. That learning record is never sent to a server.

What we do not ask a child for

We do not ask for an email address, exact birth date, photo, voice recording, public username, location, school, or advertising profile.

No advertising and no model chat

This site has no ads, no public rankings, no paid currency, no open-ended child chat, and no production model calls. Every answer is checked by deterministic browser code.

Family controls

Clearing this site's browser data removes the device-local name and progress. Cloud accounts and cross-device syncing are not part of this release.

Map data

State outlines come from the public domain United States Census cartographic boundary files, redrawn once when the site was built. No map tiles are fetched while you practice, so the lab keeps working with no network connection after the first load.
